Our Story

It’s all about connections.

Misco Goods is a reminder of the way shops used to be; familiar, unhurried, engaged.

It came together in Wapiti, WY.

Wapiti, WY: Gina, Shaw, Chris

Misco Goods, or some version of it, was brewing for almost a decade before the doors opened. I will spare you that lengthy origin story and cut to the chase.  Through mutual friends, I ended up spending a weekend in Waipiti, WY with Chris Kenyon and Shaw Thompson. These two amazing people (and couple) ended up being the final puzzle pieces. Over drinks and horseback rides, Chris realized there was a connection between how the Misco Mill Gallery could evolve and Misco Goods could come to life. The woman is a force, and a year later we were up and running.

The best part of this journey has been the people. The artists and makers, the shop patrons, creative collaborators, and most importantly, these two folks that I get to share my time and space with.

Shaw founded the Misco Mill Gallery almost 25 years ago. His work is showcased there, as well as 2Rivers Collection, which includes LA Huffman and Edward Curtis images from Douglas Kenyon’s private collection (Chris’ father).

The Shop

We currently do not have an online shop as we have prioritized our space in Bozeman and connecting in person; however, we do have plans for this in the future, so keep checking.
